Capturing Boise’s Response to COVID-19: A New 8-Part Food Series

A few months ago, I received an incredible email: The Boise City Department of Arts & History had selected FARE Idaho (and by extension, me) for a grant!

Ever since, I've been working with FARE Executive Director Katie Baker and photographer Marilyn Isaac to document the Boise food community's resilient response to COVID-19. We've sat down with chefs, restaurant owners and nonprofit leaders to capture their stories in photo essays.

There will be a total of eight pieces released monthly beginning in November 2021. Each one will be archived with the Department of Arts & History, becoming a permanent piece of the city's legacy.
